Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogota (ETB) is epected to launch its 4G LTE service in the next few days and thus become the country’s fourth mobile telephony operator

The Colombian operator will initially offer 4G in 41 municipalities across the country including Bogota, Barranquilla, Caldas, Bucaramanga, Envigado, Medellin, Sabaneta and Santa Marta.

ETB, which is majority owned by Bogota’s municipal government, offers fixed telephony, data and internet services.
