Telefónica has selected Syniverse Technologies as its exclusive provider of roaming business management services for 11 of its properties across Latin America. Through Syniverse’s GAIN Roaming Business Management Services, Syniverse will work directly with these operators to speed up the implementation of hundreds of roaming agreements.

Sergio Sánchez, Director of Business Development for P&S-Voice and Roaming, Telefónica LatAm, said Syniverse’s status as a long-term, trusted service provider was a significant reason why it chose the organization to manage essential roaming management business processes for its Latin American properties.

As part of the process to get roaming agreements quickly implemented, Syniverse also will ensure compliance with industry standards by conducting all required IREG and TADIG testing for the operators.

Because GAIN is fully customizable, Tony Holcombe, President and CEO, Syniverse said the company was able to assess the specific needs of Telefónica properties and tailor the solution to meet their exact requirements.
