Costa Rica’s Kolbi launches LTE 4G service

Kolbi, the mobile division of Costa Rica’s state-owned operator ICEhas launched a 4G mobile internet service across nearly a third of the Central American country.

The LTE Network will support post-paid customers, and two packages are being made available with sppeds upto 6Mbps and 10 Mbps.The 10 Mbps service will be free for one month to those who request it in the next 15 days. The 4G internet service is not yet available for the iPhone 5, 5S and 5C models, due to a pending software update by Apple.
